Join the fun with a family-oriented 5 km or 8 km off–road run as part of Cowichan Seniors Community Foundation's "The Great Cowichan Caper" fundraising initiative.

Deadline: May 15, 2010.

Registration Fee: $25 which includes a souvenir and meal and beverage ticket. Liability waiver required.

How Well Do you Know your Valley?

Find out how well you know the Cowichan Valley by registering for this exciting car scavenger hunt as part of Cowichan Seniors Community Foundation's Cowichan Caper fundraiser.

Registration Fee: $100 per car, with teams of up to four people (no more than four people). FUN PRIZES!! Liability waiver required.

Deadline: May 15, 2010.

Seniors Sports Day

• Relay Races
• Olympic Torch relay (Scooters, assists okay)
• Egg & Spoon Race
• Steeplechase game

• Children friendly — bring the Family!

Registration Fee: No charge, however, registration is required.
MUST HAVE A BUDDY REGISTERED TO ASSIST YOU ON THE DAY. Liability waiver required.

• Entertainment — on Centre Stage next to track
• Musicians, dancers, choir and band for dancing later in day

Venue: under the big tent in the infield Sportsplex track. Loads of fun and excitement come rain or shine!

Fundraising Target: $20,000 (Seniors Project Award). Also make sure to check out all the other exciting events including live entertainment, seniors' games, a car scavenger hunt, expo, beer garden and BBQ—all from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. under the big tent in the infield Sportsplex track. More entertainment and dancing from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m.

First Aid and security will be onsite. Traffic control attendants will be provided. Food Safe, Liquor license, and Serve It Right in place.

* No dogs allowed as per Cowichan Sportsplex rules and regulations.

Great Cowichan Caper Schedule

• Great Cowichan Caper: 12:00 pm–7:00 pm
• Fun Run: Marshal 12:00 pm –12:45pm. Run Start around track: 1:00 pm
• Car Scavenger Hunt: Marshal 12:00 pm–1:00 pm Event start in rear parking lot at 1:00 pm
• Seniors Sports Day Track and In–field area: 12:00 pm–3:00 pm
• Vintage Car Parade – 2:00–3:00 pm
